Code of conduct
All of our activities are underpinned
by our Code of Conduct, which clearly
sets expectations for appropriate
ethical business conduct and
resources for speaking up regarding
potential violations.
To ensure everyone at CSAA —
including contingent workers
and employees, all the way
up to and including our board
members — adhere to our standard
of ethics, we have an ethics helpline
(Speak Up Line) for employees
to report potential misconduct.
It is available 24/7, by phone or
internet. All reports are reviewed
and addressed or investigated, as
appropriate. The helpline is operated
by a third party, and reporters have
the option to remain anonymous.
CSAA does not tolerate retaliation
against anyone who submits a
good-faith report or participates
in an investigation; the option for
anonymity may provide reporters
additional peace of mind and
encourage individuals to come
forward without fear of retaliation.
We also completed a refresh of
the Speak Up Line to ensure that the
process is clear and straightforward.
In 2024, we rolled out a refreshed
Code of Conduct, as well as
continued to highlight the most
common ethical questions and
concerns via an advice column
published on our company intranet.
Some topics included navigating
political conversations professionally
and respectfully, accepting
vendor invitations to conferences,
fostering a positive and engaged
multigenerational team, and
understanding the importance
of accurate timekeeping.
