From our CEO
Holiday flex program
The company offers 12 paid holidays—
all 11 federal holidays and the day
after Thanksgiving. For those required
to—or who volunteer to—work on
holidays, our holiday flex program
enables employees to either be paid
the holiday pay or bank the time and
use it to observe an alternative day
off of their choosing. This holiday flex
program gives employees the flexibility
to celebrate a cultural holiday that is
not among our 12, or to take
a day off for other reasons.
Inclusion and belonging
• The inaugural AAA Inclusion &
Belonging Conference brought
together senior executives, HR
professionals, inclusion practitioners
and employee resource group leads
to share insights and best practices,
fostering a more cohesive and
inclusive culture across the entire
AAA federation.
• In collaboration with fellow
signatories of the AAA CEO Action
for Diversity and Inclusion —

Planet
organizations across the AAA
ecosystem— we jointly hosted the
Days of Understanding program, an
annual event that encourages open
and honest conversations about
inclusion in the workplace. The
event focused on the importance
of cultivating a culture of care and
accountability in the workplace.
The program emphasized that the
company’s innovation, productivity
and growth are supported by trustbased, collaborative relationships.
• CSAA’s continued commitment
to inclusion and belonging has
encouraged an ongoing engagement
of leaders to participate in
Intercultural Development Inventory
(IDI)-based coaching. This crucial
effort provides space to broaden
horizons and perspectives around
inclusion and belonging, impacting
decision-making and allowing
for stronger leadership skills,
better decisions, and inclusive
outcomes. Nearly 70 leaders across
the organization, including the
executive leadership team, have now
participated in this experience.
People
Practice
• Our 2024 Inclusion Summit,
“Co-Creating Inclusive Outcomes,”
united more than 300 CSAA
employees and external guests
for three half-days of celebration,
learning and growth. Highlights from
the biennial event included keynotes
from adrienne maree brown and
David Stroh, personal stories from
employees, panel discussions on
topics such as Total Social Impact
and a Zooniverse community
impact event in collaboration
with the Adler Planetarium where
participants categorized and
analyzed 3,000 pieces of data.
